Antislip

Antislip glass, also known as “slip-resistant” glass, is specially treated or processed to provide increased friction when walked on. This helps prevent slipping, tripping, or falling, especially when the glass surface is wet. Here are some common techniques used to create antislip glass

GlassGrit: This premium antislip option involves fusing small pieces of glass aggregate permanently to the glass surface in a kiln. The result is fully transparent glass with excellent slip resistance. It’s compatible with colored or textured glass and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

GlassFrit: Like silk-screening, GlassFrit is baked onto the glass surface. While transparent, it may wear over time.

GlassEtch: Acid etching removes portions of the glass surface, resulting in varying depths. Customizable patterns can be etched into the glass, allowing for personalized designs. GlassEtch provides a frosted look and is also used as a modesty surface
