Annealed Glass
Annealed glass is cost-effective and made by gradual cooling inside a temperature-controlled furnace.
Applications:
- General-purpose use where high strength isn’t critical.
- Tabletops
- Framed glass panels
- Small windows.
Heat Strengthened Glass:
Heated annealed glass rapidly cooled for increased strength and heat resistance.
Applications:
- Commercial building windows.
- Vehicle side and rear windows.
Toughened Glass (Tempered Glass)
4-5 times stronger than annealed glass due to surface compression and central tension.
Applications:
- Automobile windshields.
- Building windows.
- Glass doors and tables.
